HISTORIC DINING
About Garibaldi’s
Chef Luigi Garibaldi was born and raised in California, where he studied at the California Culinary Academy of San Francisco. After which he moved with his wife to Alaska to study under many culinary greats. 15 years ago, Chef Luigi and his family moved to Kingman AZ. The Garibaldi family opened the doors 8 years ago for only catering and events, soon expanding into a lunch only restaurant on September 11, 2017. Celebrating great popularity and growth, Garibaldi’s has now expanded to include a beautifully transformed, historic dining area, formally known as the Brunswick hotel. This dining room has been renovated to include as many of the historic original pieces possible from the 1909 historic landmark. When the original wood was pulled up from the floor to be refinished, we learned that each piece of wood had been chiseled with the word Garibaldi. We knew this location was meant to be. We found out later that the wood had been sent from Garibaldi Oregon. Three of the original panels are on display in our historic dining area.
